had an amazing stay in st. petersburg this weekend, and Oktiabrskaya exceeded all expectations! perfect location near subway and shopping center, warm and spacious rooms with great lighting. loved the added convenience of slippers, kettle, and hygiene kit. highly recommend staying here, especially if you enjoy a nice bathtub.

1. Cheating staff. I was told to pay her 1700 rubles for taxi ride to the airport. I found a taxi on street for 900 rubles. 2. A hotel with luxury price but very basic service.

The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city. We were able to easily explore all the main attractions and shopping centers, as everything was just a short walk away. The service here was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff who went the extra mile to ensure our comfort. The room amenities were luxurious, including ironing facilities, tea and coffee facilities, a sitting area, a dressing area, and a dining table. We were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary toiletries, an electric kettle, and a flat-screen TV in the room. The carpeted and parquet floors added a touch of elegance to the room. We also appreciated the free Wi-Fi, which kept us connected throughout our stay.

In short, we highly recommend this hotel to all. The experience was simply wonderful, and we cannot wait to return here in the future.

Superb location

The room looks very old fashioned, no tea/coffee service available in the room, it's very petty to have a single bed even if the room is advertised as single. Very few interbnational hotels do this nowadays.

Poor service, no free tables at breaksfast in the breakfast room, no wi- fi in the rooms, very long corridors to reach your room, poor amenities in the room, no conditionning and noisy street outside my window, room is very small

A surprisingly quiet and comfortable stay. We were able to get a great night's sleep thanks to the soundproof windows and peaceful atmosphere. The large bathtub with excellent hot water pressure was a nice bonus. The convenient location near the train station made our departure hassle-free. I highly recommend this hotel for its quality and affordability.

Very quiet provided the room faces the courtyard. Very central location. Clean and friendly.

Breakfast is not included but you can get it for extra payment. However, if you choose this option, you will be asked, for each breakfast, to cross a large square to a different buiding of the hotel, with cheaper breakfast facilities all around.

I recently stayed at this hotel and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The location is fantastic, being within walking distance from the central train station and the main shopping district. The room rates were quite reasonable compared to other similar hotels in the area. The service was impeccable, and the staff were very helpful and organized. The room itself was spacious and had all the amenities I needed, including ironing facilities, a tea and coffee station, a sitting area, a dressing area, and a dining table. The free toiletries and electric kettle were a nice touch, and the flat-screen TV provided entertainment during my downtime. The internet connection was also reliable throughout my stay.

There was one small issue that I encountered during my stay. The staff forgot to wake me up one night, which was a bit inconvenient.

Clean and located next to a important subway station.

24 hr lobby is left in the dark in late hours, rather gloomy initial impression. Internal phone system is somewhat cryptic to operate.

Only good thing was the location

The hotel staff, especially one girl was not friendly.Also, I booked a twin room, but got a room with single bed and separate extra bed for my friend. This bed was hard and uncomfortable

The value for money at Oktiabrskaya Hotel was great - the room was well decorated, spacious, and clean. The location was perfect, with easy access to the metro station and popular sites within a short stroll. The staff treated me kindly and were always ready to help, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The check-in procedure takes up much longer than in other hotels.

Most of all we liked location. Breakfasts are not bad.

No air-conditioner. We couldnt make tea as there was no kettle which is not convenient late in the evening.The bathroom facilities were in poor condition. Constant dripping got on the nerves...The water was almost always cold or changing itself from cold to warm. We were shocked that when we ordered a taxi via reception we saw an old shabby mnini bus that stinked and there was dirt on the seats. For a ten minutes drive in that so-called taxi he charged 500 rubles.
